The Host

Jackie Johnson is a former southern belle beauty queen turned LA vegan comedian, but she will never shake those roots, ho-ney. She loves all the makeup, playing The Sims, ranting on Snapchat, and chillin with her bestie (her dog)! She sings in a pop-punk cover band and refers to 1999 as "the best year that ever happened." She’s supposed to be a famous young starlet but it’s taking longer than expected cause she is a late bloomer and that’s okay!

Michelle Davis, co-author of the wildly popular Thug Kitchen cookbook trilogy, knows her way around the Whole Foods Face care & supplements aisle after her 8 years of employment. She discusses all of her favorite brands, plus other gems of self care like using various teas to mix with face mask clays and the importance of sleep hygiene. For the month of October, 20% of the proceeds from all Thug Kitchen books sold will go to the Ron Finley project, whose mission is to make South Central LA into a well-balanced, fruit-and-veggie oasis and ignite a Horti-cultural Revolution.
