“Improv Nerd with Jimmy Carrane,” is a live interview show hosted by Jimmy Carrane, a comedian, well-known improv teacher and former host of Studio 312 on Chicago Public Radio. In this show, Jimmy interviews icons in the world of improv and comedy, giving audiences a behind-the-scenes look at their creative process. Laugh along as Jimmy performs a totally unscripted scene with many of his guests and then opens the floor for questions.

Jimmy Carrane is the host of Improv Nerd and co-author of “Improvising Better: A Guide to the Working Improviser.” He is the former host of Studio 312 on Chicago Public Radio. He has taught at The Second City, IO-Chicago, The Annoyance and Victory Gardens.

Rebecca Sohn is among the great improvisers and improv teachers in Chicago, having performed legendary shows at both iO and The Annoyance Theater. Ted Tremper is best known for his two award winning web series Shrink and Break-ups. Rebecca and Ted were part of a dramatic improv show called Almost Atlanta that enjoyed successful runs across Chicago, including at The Annoyance Theater and The Steppenwolf Garage. Rebecca and Ted sat down with Jimmy at The Second City to talk about their process in creating Almost Atlanta and their storied careers.
